Madagscar 2. Onder ernstig voorbehoud.

Sommige lezers van deze blog vragen wel eens: welke films worden er de komende vijf jaar uitgebracht? De meeste animatiefilms kosten jaren werk, dus er moet al veel bekend zijn over films die we mogen verwachten. Zo zou je denken.

Maar de animatiestudio’s houden het liefst hun kaken stijf op elkaar. En als ze al iets bekend maken…

Voorbehoud
Dan doen ze het onder ernstig voorbehoud. Neem nou DreamWorks. Laten we
eens in hun papieren duiken. Maanden geleden bracht DreamWorks al een
persbericht uit waarin ze de release van Madagascar 2 aankondigde voor
2008. Met onder andere het nieuws dat de acteurs uit de eerste
Madagascar (onder andere Chris Rock en Ben Stiller) ook weer meedoen in
de sequel.

Maar…
We mogen ons er niet op vast pinnen. DreamWorks sluit haar
persberichten standaard af met een een reeks voorbehouden. Misschien
wel eens aardig om die gewoon te publiceren. Dit schreef DreamWorks
onder haar persbericht voor Madgascar 2:

Met andere woorden: niets is zeker. Fijn hoor, zo’n persbericht. Ik zou
zeggen: stuur pas een bericht naar de media als je al die dingen wèl
zeker weet.
